Steven Jesse Bernstein
December 4, 1950 – October 22, 1991
He was a family friend that I heard bizarre stories about. When I was a kid my brothers played his "Prison" album that he performed at Washington State Penitentiary Special Offenders Unit in 1991, the same year he took his life.
The video above was recorded at a hospital in Seattle where Jesse was participating in an epilepsy study for fifty bucks a night.
